OEP Chair Dame Glenys Stacey wrote to the then Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, on October 6, 2022, about the importance of the approaching deadline for Environmental Targets to be set.
We received a reply on October 28 confirming that the deadline would not be met but that work was taking place at pace to ensure targets would be in place as soon as practicable. We responded directly to this letter.
